I was born, raised and still reside in and around Seattle. I am married, have 6 kids and live in the house I built 15 years ago. I have a strong Christian faith and believe in the God of the Bible, which is my "business plan".
One of my earliest jobs was delivering 450 news papers, before school(high) for a now defunct local paper. The route allowed me to become very familiar with local neighborhoods. I spent my young, adult life working in the car business, not selling but repairing. I was a certified (factory) trained BMW tech, and later a Mercedes tech, and shop foreman. However, I turned a hobby into a vocation and realized I did not want a career in that vocation. So I entered real estate in the late 80's (1987) and was invited to work for a small, boutique brokerage. I began career as a property manager for 120 units. I later moved into sales for many of the owners of managed properties. After 5 years, I then moved to a "big name" firm, which only lasted only a few years due to the expense. I then joined ReMax and spent 20 years there, where I taught home buyer education classes for Washington State Housing Finance Commission (9 years) and joined a team closing 18 deals a month. After our team dissolved, I moved to KW in 2013 to build a team and enjoy some warm culture. While this move proved good at first and I enjoyed the culture and the value placed on people, the cost was simply too high.
I was introduced to Fathom Realty during a conversation with a Dave Ramsey coach (I have been a Dave Ramsey ELP since 2006). I am truly excited about the opportunity of opening the new Fathom Realty Washington Branch and look forward to applying the full experience of our team to provide a truly unique and successful real estate experience for our clients.
